Adult Basic Education (ABE) Pathway

This is a no fee class (not applicable to testing fees).

Farmersville Adult School provides programs that teach adult students specific skills in basic level math and reading skills, practical science, and job readiness.

ABE classes are designed to help students improve in the areas of reading, writing, and math. The goal of ABE class is to prepare students for success in the General Education Development (GED) and High School Diploma (HSD) course. Upon successful completion of ABE coursework (including a specified CASAS post-test score), students will transfer to the GED or HSD program.
