• Thank you for your interest in becoming a substitute for Farmersville Unified School District. The steps to become a classified or certificated substitute are listed below.

     


     Substitute Teacher Requirements:

    1. Hold a valid Emergency 30-day Substitute Teaching Permit or a Preliminary/Clear Multiple Subject or Single Subject Teaching Credential or other credential issued by the California Commission on Teaching Credentialing.
    2. Provide a fingerprint clearance certificate through the Tulare County Office of Education.
    3. Complete a FUSD Substitute Teaching Packet. Packets may be picked up from the District Office Mon.-Fri. from 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
    4. Submit verification of Tuberculosis (TB) test results (within the last 4 years).
    5. Valid Driver’s License or Identification and Social Security Card.

    Classified Substitute Requirements:

    1. Provide a fingerprint clearance certificate through the Tulare County Office of Education or through Farmersville Unified School District.
    2.  Complete a FUSD Classified Substitute Packet. Packets may be picked up from the District Office Mon.-Fri. from 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
    3.  Submit verification of Turberculosis (TB) test results (within the last 4 years).
    4.  Valid Driver’s License or Identification and Social Security Card.

    Note: Once ALL items are completed, you will be placed on our automated AESOP Subfinder Calling System. Your username and Pin will be provided by our Human Resources Office.
